.Bruce McCumstie was once referred to in a leading Brisbane newspaper as "A True Face of Australia" and that is exactly what you see when you meet him, a true and proud Aussie through and through.

Born and raised in western NSW, Bruce has a career that spans almost forty years full-time commitment to professional entertainment. He’s the genuine Aussie 'boy from the bush' and he’s done it all over the years – farming, rodeo, club & pub management, mustering but always dedicated first and foremost to his love of country music.

He is well known all throughout Australia from his days touring with bands like "Blue Heeler" and the Kimberley Country Band" amongst others and for his production shows as "Willie" but all the time being a proud ambassador for Australian Country Music. Some of his more memorable appearances include being chosen to perform for Her Majesty at the opening of “The Stockman’s Hall of Fame” in Longreach, main-stage for many Gympie Musters (including the 25th Anniversary reunion), Tamworth, Emerald, Central Coast, Port Stephens and Cessnock Country Music Festivals, Farm Field days amongst many other major events.

More recently he spent three years entertaining Australian and International tourists in the beautiful Hunter Valley Vineyards and will be remembered by many from his over 1,000 shows during that time of "Throw the Billy On" at Harrigans - part of the Hunter Valley Gardens group.

Bruce is also well know throughout Australia for his "Willie" perfomances and has just recently had sell out shows performing with Bosco Bosanc as Johnny Cash in the production show "Ring of Fire" at Crown Casino in Mebourne and Burswood Casino in Perth as well as other major venues in NSW.

Bruce still tours and performs at festivals all over the country you will find Bruce these days living just south-east of Tamworth, Australia's Country Music Capital, in the picturesque village of Nundle. He often performs there at a wonderful new venue, The Dag Sheep Station, performing what he loves best, All Australian Country Music - look out for things on at The Dag when you are visitng the Tamworth area.
