Sunday 13th June 2010 BLUE WATER COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Breakfast Show at Soldiers Point Bowling club this morning was a sell out!! 300 plus people helped make it a great show. Bruce shared the stage with Bush poet Cathy Edwards whose great wit and bush prose kept the crowd in good spirits all morning. Our apologies to all the people who were turned away we are really sorry about that but there wasn't a seat left or a sausage left over.

In the afternoon we went over to join our friend Bryen Willems and wife Karen along with mate Garry Brown on Dobro who were perfroming in the lovely hall at the One Mile Beach Caravan Park - what a great complex. Bruce did a few songs and then played bass for Bryen in his second set. They all enjoyed the "jam" and although it was a small gathering it was a great cosy atmosphere for a cold wet afternoon. Bev even managed to get a spot by the fire to keep warm.
